Books & Projects I’ve Been Working On!

Hey there! Once again my writing here has taken a bit of a backseat, as it’s been a busy time for me personally. As much as I attempt to keep to a weekly schedule, sometimes you have to prioritise how much you can get done in a day. I never like leaving this site quiet for too long though, so I thought I’d talk a little bit about some of the projects I’ve been working on recently!

If you didn’t know, I’m a graphic designer for Titan Books, which means getting to work on some exciting books and properties. The biggest projects are often the Art Books or “Making Of” books, such as the Cowboy Bebop one I did previously. The latest one I worked on which got published is for the superb animated series Pacific Rim: The Black. The series itself is an animated follow-up to the feature films, and the Art Book chronicles the process of developing the two seasons of the Netflix show; below are some images of the cover and interior spreads!

As well as this, I’ve also worked on covers for several licensed fiction titles, such as the novelization for the recent film Halloween Ends. Other recent book covers I worked on are for Alien 3: The Unproduced Screenplay by William Gibson (which just got a paperback edition), the prose novel version of Marvel’s Original Sin, and the Predator: Eyes of the Demon story collection! It’s always a thrill to be involved with IP that I’ve enjoyed so much myself, as evidenced by my years of writing on this very site…

There’s also plenty more projects in the works that I’m excited to share at a later date! If you feel the urge, do consider grabbing yourself any of these books to support them and the authors and editors that work on getting them into the world. I’ll stop short of putting any direct links in this post – but you can go to the official Titan Books website or your retailer of choice to get yourself a copy!

Hopefully I’ll be back soon with a post about the brilliant CrossCode, which I’ve been playing a lot of on Nintendo Switch and am excited to talk about. Until then, though, have an amazing day!
